Mr
Hi there,
I am 30 years old, started riding an old 1973 Suzuki ap50 at 16 and moved on from there. Civil Engineer (laugh a minute), live in a nothing county (Northamptonshire) not far from where I studied Coventry - the concrete jungle.
In 2018 I rode with a dopey mate from the UK to Nepal with both of us on 1993 Yamaha ttr250s. I had the honour of bump starting my mate every day from Istanbul all the way to Nepal.
Currently I am in Brazil and started a South America trip with my Italian girlfriend who I met on the last trip in Kyrgyzstan. We are both on ttr250s, Roberta built hers from a box of bit. We have just fixed the bike as en route to the centre of the Amazon (Manaus) Robbie's bike bent all 4 valves.
We sold our bigger bikes before we left but couldn't part with the old Honda c90s before we left. I honestly love mine, it's got extended suspension, Knobblies and loves winter bog and 5hr charity mx races.
We travel cheap as we are self funded, the bikes were £1000 each and we try camping as much as possible.
We do have some decent kit etc Inc Adventure spec gear but only as we got in there early before the clothes and luggage systems took off and increased in price.
If of any interest feel free to get in touch or WhatsApp or Instagram, we can change the photo and if not interested no worries!
Love the podcast, good luck in the future.
